Converted from the old St. Regis School, Parkview Manor (3250 Parkview Avenue) is a HUD S8, ADA-compliant building for senior citizens (62 and older) and people with disabilities.

The building has 15 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units. Tenants have access to coin or app-operated washers and dryers. The building also has a common room for community gatherings, bingo, and resident events. Each unit has heat and air-conditioning. Water and sewage are included in the monthly payment.

Oakland Affordable Living

Oakland Affordable Living includes apartment units at Allequippa Place and 2520 Wadsworth Street.

Allequippa Place consists of renovated two- and three-bedroom units. 2520 Wadsworth Street, newly constructed in 2019, is fully ADA accessible and offers 24 one-bedroom units and one three-bedroom unit.

Remodeled in 2009, OPDC’s apartment building at 141 Robinson has four efficiencies, seven one-bedroom units, 17 two-bedroom units, and one three-bedroom unit. Apartments are cable-ready and operate off a high-efficiency boiler system and air conditioning.

Tenants have access to a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers and one free pass for private, off-street parking. There is also an on-site playground for families with young children. The monthly payment includes gas, water, and sewage. 


Pacelli House

The former Pacelli family mansion, donated to OPDC in support of our mission of quality, affordable rental housing, is located in South Oakland at 3259 Dawson Street. The Pacelli House has five one-bedroom, one-bathroom units and one two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit.

Fourteen bus stops within a quarter of a mile of the Pacelli House make commuting easy. Tenants have access to free, private, off-street parking and coin-operated washer and dryer. The units feature forced-air heating. The monthly payment includes water and sewage.
