In an effort to engage the Oakland community, its organizations and institutions, the University of Pittsburgh is planning a series of open forums to review their current status related to the blueprint that will guide the evolution of the physical and built environment on and around their campus to support the goals and aspirations of their strategic plan.
The University of Pittsburgh Oakland Master Plan project will start with tasks and milestones, data collection and fact-finding from a wide-range of participants: Stakeholders, Planners, as well as subject matter experts. The University intends to incorporate best-practices in “project time management” in this manner: Activities will be logically sequenced according to the projects needs to create a critical path for accomplishment then use the outcomes to determine the risk-factors, milestone dates, and other statistical planning data.
