About the project: The Four Mile Run Stormwater Project will capture and route stormwater through a natural channel that will follow the path of the historic streams that formed Four Mile Run from Panther Hollow Lake to the Monongahela River. It will help to reduce combined sewer overflows, basement backups, and neighborhood flooding.
The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is hosting a community meeting about the stormwater improvements being considered within Four Mile Run. This meeting will provide an update on the progress since the June 20, 2019 public meeting. The following topics will be addressed:
·Construction of the early action projects in Schenley Park
Design schedule for Panther Hollow Lake and Junction Hollow Valley
Status of the M-29 Outfall Pipe
Overall project schedule and timeline
Project costs and funding
