Four Mile Run Stormwater Improvement Project: Early Action Project Walking Tour

  • Schenley Overlook Turnaround on Overlook Dr. (map)

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority invites you to learn about two early action projects that will be implemented in Schenley Park to quickly address runoff from Overlook Drive and the Bridle Trail that contribute to flooding issues experienced by homeowners in the Naylor Street area of The Run in Greenfield.

The projects, which were first introduced at a public meeting on June 20, 2019, will be implemented this fall. The walking tour highlights the areas that will be constructed and guides will discuss relevant issues related to stormwater and park ecology.

Please note: The hike is approximately two miles long and will occur during dusk, though we expect it to conclude before dark. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and consider bringing a flashlight.

RSVP online here.
