OPDC holds public meetings to facilitate community discussion about development, policy, and topics of interest to neighbors. OPDC is a Registered Community Organization with the City of Pittsburgh.

OPDC, Oakland Business Improvement District, and the City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning are hosting a required Development Activities Meeting (DAM) for the Wyndham Hotel at 100 Lytton Avenue.

The hotel plans to install a wireless antenna installation with stealth screening on its roof of the Wyndham Hotel. Due to the hotel’s location within the Oakland Civic Center Historic District, the project will need to go before the Historic Review Commission.
