Development Activities Meeting: Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and Oakland Pride

OPDC holds public meetings to facilitate community discussion about development, policy, and topics of interest to neighbors. OPDC is a Registered Community Organization with the City of Pittsburgh.

The City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning is hosting a required Development Activities Meeting (DAM) for two projects on Monday, April 4, at 5:30 p.m.

  1. The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and elagin architecture, inc. will be presenting on proposed improvements to the front entrance area and staircase of the main branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (4400 Forbes Avenue). The project will be reviewed by the Historic Review Commission and Art Commission.

  2. Rothschild Doyno Collaborative will present plans to construct “Oakland Pride”, a project featuring 51 units of affordable housing for LGBTQ+ senior citizens to be located at 3129-3133 Forbes Avenue. The project will be reviewed by the Planning Commission.

This community meeting serves as a required Development Activities Meeting for both projects.
