The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County will host the #ONEDAY Critical Needs Alert online giving event to support basic needs and the safety net of essential human services in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.

Providing affordable homeownership is a top priority for OPDC.

Sheila Wilson was renting in West Oakland. Through the Oakland Community Land Trust, she was able to purchase a home in the same neighborhood—her nephews didn’t even have to change bus stops.

“The CLT is a pay-it-forward model,” she says. “It’s a great opportunity for my family.”
