Pittsburgh's yearly citywide trash-collecting competition is back! OPDC and Pitt have worked together to recruit and organize Oakland teams for Garbage Olympics every year since 2018. This year, we hope to recruit three teams: Central, South, and West Oakland.
Teams will meet up at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 23 to receive instructions and gloves, vests, garbage bags, and other supplies. Clean-up starts promptly at 9 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m.
