Let's Talk: Rental Registration and Quality of Life Ticketing

  • OPDC 294 Semple Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15213 (map)

HYBRID EVENT: IN-PERSON OR VIA ZOOM

Neglected and poorly-maintained properties affect everyone’s quality of life in Oakland—and they can be public health hazards, as well. Two new city laws are attempting to address these problems.

Both rental registration and quality of life ticketing have been in legal limbo for some time, but a hearing is finally set for rental registration on Tuesday, January 17, and we’re hoping to see some movement.

This Let’s Talk community discussion features the latest developments with guests representing the mayor's office, Department of Public Works, Environmental Services, and city council offices.
