Moving out? Cleaning up? Dispose of your hard-to-recycle items on April 28!

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC), we are offering Oakland residents a convenient way to dispose of hard-to-recycle items. The City of Pittsburgh does not take electronics on trash day. Avoid citations and help the planet by recycling with us on April 28th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Forbes Tower surface lot (located at the corner of Atwood and Sennott Streets, behind Forbes Tower).

Accepted items include: electronics (TVs, computers, stereos, etc.), appliances (mini fridges, microwaves, etc.), tires off rims and more. Please do not bring paint or other household chemicals.

You must be an Oakland resident to participate. All fees are waived.

Looking to sell or trade gently used clothing, knick-kacks, or small furniture items? Check out the rummage sale at Party in the Parklet, also on April 28th!
