Carlow, CMU, Chatham, and Pitt are teaming up to launch a new jobs program called the University Talent Alliance, designed for residents from Oakland, Uptown, the Hill District, and Homewood.
After completing a paid month-long training and mentoring program, residents will be eligible to secure full-time employment at one of these universities as an administrative assistant. Four-year degrees are not required.
