PennDOT plans to repave Forbes from the Birmingham Bridge to Margaret Morrison and will improve the street at various locations as needed. The section of Forbes between Craig Street and Margaret Morrison will be rebuilt to include bike lanes running in both directions, traffic signal upgrades, and crosswalks. The new design will transform Forbes into a two-lane road, compared to its current four-lane structure, which will significantly shorten the distance for people crossing the road and should slow automobile traffic. 

At this meeting, Gulisek Construction, LLC, the Contractor, and Project Partners will discuss design plans, including project management, schedule and safety.
