Great news for West Oakland residents! The City of Pittsburgh will soon install traffic diverters at the intersection of Robinson Street and Fifth Avenue to prevent vehicles from illegally turning from Robinson onto 376 West. Thanks to The Corner/West Oakland Neighborhood Council for all the meetings, letters, and phone calls—your hard work and advocacy led to this victory. Thanks also to the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of City Planning and Department of Mobility and Infrastructure who heard the community’s concerns, carefully studied the intersection and thoughtfully crafted a solution.
